As per our Terms and Conditions, we are not permitted to accept reservations from persons under the age of 18. We kindly ask your parent of guardian make the reservation on your behalf.

Our team are highly experienced in security driving. We have partnerships with security companies across Australia and can facilitate any requirements you need regarding security detail. We have a range of highly trained and experienced security drivers who will work with your private security team, or the Australian Police, to ensure the safety and security of our passengers. Sure! Your transfer manifest can be as simple or as detailed as you need it to be. If you need help making sense of the logistics, get in touch and we’ll take that off your hands too!

Specialised Transport Australia permits one (1) bag plus one (1) carry-on per person in each reservation. If you have additional bags, please inform us at the time of booking.

Specialised Transport Australia accepts all major Credit Cards. You can pay via American Express, MasterCard, VisaCard and Diners.

We will endeavour to collect you at the requested booking time, every time. Generally, our drivers will arrive at your pickup location between 10 minutes prior and ten minutes after the requested pickup time. We kindly ask that all passengers be ready 15 minutes prior to the actual booking time.

General COVID-19 FAQs

All our drivers are required to complete formal training in Hygiene Practices and Vehicle Sanitisation Procedures to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic. We take utmost care when transporting our clients, so you can feel confident that all necessary steps have been taken for your safety, and that of your driver.

All vehicles are cleaned after every reservation. We trust you will be suitably impressed with how our vehicles are presented. Deep cleaning and sanitisation of the vehicle will only be done if the driver believes there is reason to, for example a passenger appeared unwell or repeatedly coughed or sneezed while inside the vehicle and touched any of the internal or external surfaces of the vehicle. All drivers carry disinfectant wipes and other cleaning products suitable to maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.

Quarantine Transfer FAQs

The vehicle(s) you book will be returned to our fleet to be used for other purposes – but only after it meets certain criteria. A vehicle used to transport quarantined passengers must be appropriately sanitised according to Government protocols. We also ensure the vehicle itself is quarantined for 24 hours after being cleaned to ensure there is no risk to other passengers or the driver. All vehicles used for transferring quarantined passengers will carry a copy of the transport plan and signed Statement of Compliance.

All STA drivers are formally trained in COVID-19 Hygiene Awareness and Quarantine Infection Control for Drivers by DRVR Training. This ensures they fully understand their responsibilities to ensure a safe environment for themselves and passengers alike. This course also includes training on sanitising their vehicle and appropriate use of PPE, among many other important topics relevant to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

The number of quarantined passengers will vary depending on your vehicle reservation. The quarantined passengers need to be part of the same household to ride in the same vehicle. Contact us to discuss your special requirements, or make a booking online.

No, the driver is not authorised to make any scheduled or unscheduled stops during the transfer of quarantined passengers until they reach their nominated quarantine premises. At STA, we take the Government regulations seriously and understand there are penalties and enforcement for non-compliance.

All passengers are required to check in via QR code through the Check In Qld app. QR codes are provided in each vehicle for your convenience. All passengers must be checked-in for appropriate COVID-19 contact tracing.
